Východoslovenská energetika a.s. (VSE) is a energy company which provides comprehensive services related to electricity off-take.
Business activities of VSE are the purchase of electricity from producers and its sale to our approximately 500.000 customers – households, companies and organizations, accounts, and key accounts. By means of Integrated Power Supply Contracts we provide comprehensive services in the area of electricity sale and distribution. The shares of VSE are owned by Fond národného majetku (National Property Fund) (51 %) and the German Group RWE (49 %).
We have been a part of the German RWE Group, one of the leading European energy companies since 2003. RWE employs over 70.856 employees and achieves an annual turnover of approximately 53.32 billion euro. It is active in the production, distribution and trading with energies in Germany, Great Britain and in Central Europe. RWE has over 16.2 million electricity customers and 7.9 million gas customers.*
