Activities of VSE for High School Students:

We Support the Project Practice Firms

This is a project that is part of the curriculum of many economic high schools. VSE has been supporting the practice firm In Energy by the Economic High School in Watsonova street in Košice already for six years. In Energy fictitiously purchases and sells electricity to other practice firms. The goal of VSE is to introduce the students to the economic practice and help the school to prepare the students for the eventual conducting of business after high school graduation. Within international fairs of practice firms in Košice and Bratislava our practice firm In Energy won the first places in several categories.

Individual Solutions for Selected High Schools for Electrical Engineering

The target group are students of selected partner highs schools for electrical engineering from Eastern Slovakia that offer study majors in the area of heavy current. We offer several activities to schools, which they can use according to their specific needs:

• visit to electrical substations,
• demonstration of the work of cable testing vans,
• individual expert consulting,
• lending of power metering devices and demonstration of cable test vans for schools,
• expert presentations.
• For younger students we organize knowledge competitions and for their older classmates a team competition with a practical task.

We Are Improving the Teaching Curricula

Experts from our company comment the teaching curricula of high schools for electrical engineering. Along with schools we are trying to make the heavy current specializations more attractive and create teaching curricula according to the current needs from practice.
