Organization of the Competition Energetika

Since 2006 we have been organizing a literary competition called Energetika for pupils of elementary schools in Eastern Slovakia during the winter months. The last, already the 4th year of this competition involved 217 students from 45 schools. At the final event, which took place on March 12, 2010, 30 finalists competed for prices for their schools of total value of more than EUR 3,000. Individual prices were shared between 6 authors of the best works.

Energy Efficiency at Schools

Within our support we and the teachers prepared teaching aids for teachers and pupils of elementary schools in Eastern Slovakia. In entertaining way we are introducing the world of energy and the possibilities of its efficient use to children.For schools we also created an independent section on the saving use of energy on the website www.ZelenaBuducnost.sk

Partnership of the Children’s University in Košice

Our company has been the general partner of the unique project “Sme TU pre deti” (We – as the Technical University – are here for children) since 2006. This is the first summer “children’s university” in Košice organized by the Technical University Košice (TUKE). In the summer days all faculties of TUKE are open for young students and they do interesting activities for them, for example plaster-casting of figures, flash simulation, visit to the airport or a lecture on significant inventions.
