Sport for All

Podporili sme organizovanie Školskej športovej ligy, ktorá vznikla ako nová koncepcia rozvoja športu v Košiciach. Finančný dar VSE umožnil úspešne rozbehnúť projekt a naplniť jeden z jeho hlavných cieľov – sprístupnenie športu deťom zo sociálne slabších rodín. Organizátorom podujatia je Mesto Košice a Športový klub Šport pre všetkých, ktorý sa zameriava aj na hľadanie nových talentov. O podujatie je veľký záujem, každý rok sa k športovaniu pridáva stále viac žiakov, škôl a športových disciplín. Napr. v školskom roku 2009/10 už v lige súťažili žiaci nielen z Košíc ale aj blízkeho okolia, a to v trinástich športových disciplínach.

VSE TK Akademik

Since December 4, 2008 the tennis club Akademik of Košice has a new name – VSE TK Akademik. We became the general partner and thus also the sponsor of the club. The mutual cooperation is an example of our engagement in the area of youth sport. “The club came with an innovative program that supports youth, provides equal opportunities to all, and makes the preparation for tournaments more efficient and improves it. Thus the children from Košice and the surrounding area have new chances how to use their free time wisely,” confirms the Chief Executive Director, Norbert Schürmann, concerning our priorities in the area of community support.

Fragaria Cup

Our company has been participating in the organization of one of the largest sport events for youth in Central and Eastern Europe since 2007. During the first week of holidays Prešov is full of young soccer players who come to Eastern Slovakia to compare their skills every year. The current already nineth annual will take place from July 3 till July 7, 2010. 217 teams from 19 countries have applied. Slovakia will be represented by 38 teams. The competitions will take place in nine categories on five playgrounds.
